Accredited Training Programs

 

This course is an entry level qualification to work within the non-emergency ambulance industry. The target participants for this course are individuals who are wanting to commence a career in the Patient Transport Industry. Candidates are not required to have any previous experience within the health industry.

 

NPT Heart's course includes 80 hours of work placements which will be facilitated through National Patient Transport.  These work placements will be rostered for students following successful completion of all face-to-face sessions and online work.
 

 

 

The HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care reflects the role of workers employed to provide patient assessment, healthcare and transport services in pre-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This qualification is designed for individuals who wish to work as Ambulance Attendants within the emergency health care sector.
By successfully completing this qualification, graduates will possess the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge required to provide clinical assessment and pre-hospital interventions to patients in emergency situations, including advanced life support skills.

NPT Heart's Diploma program has been specifically designed as an upskilling pathway for individuals currently working within the non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) sector who hold either a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (HLT31120) or a Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41120).
