Honouring Our First Responders – NPT’s community Heroes

On Thank a First Responder Day, NPT proudly recognised the outstanding dedication of first responders across the country, and drew special attention to those members of our own organisation who contribute to our communities in this most commendable way.

Many of our colleagues wear two hats: working in our industry while also volunteering as first responders in their communities. Whether you serve as a volunteer firefighter, SES member, surf lifesaver, AV CERT or ACO member, their courage, calm under pressure, and commitment to service are truly commendable.

We also acknowledge and commend the vital role our crews play as part of the broader first response network. While NPT is not a designated emergency service, our teams are often first on scene or working alongside emergency personnel, on the roadside, at crash sites, during disasters, or in moments of unexpected medical need.

The professionalism and dedication of our teams during the many critical moments that they face on the road make a real and lasting impact, not only for patients but for the communities we serve.

To all of our road staff we thank you. We proudly celebrate you and your contribution, alongside the many first responders across Australia.
