Kim Petrou Business Development Manager
Kim joined NPT in 2005 as the Business Development and Customer Relationship Manager, bringing 25 years of public hospital experience to the Business.
Kim graduated as a Registered Nurse from Preston and Northcote Community Hospital in 1981, she then went on to complete a Certificate in Emergency Nursing at PANCH (1983) and a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University (1998). Kim has held the position of Unit Manager, followed by the Business Unit Manager, at the Angliss Hospital Emergency Department during a time of growth, redevelopment and change.
Kim’s health sector experience enables her to fully appreciate the transport requirements of NPT’s customers. With this knowledge Kim has developed true partnerships with our customers.
Alison Roughton Operations Centre Manager
Alison Roughton was recruited to NPT in November 2008, having held senior leadership roles within UK based Ambulance Services and the Call Centre industry.
Immediately prior to Alison’s appointment to NPT she was Head of PR & Media for the Hampshire Division of the South Central Ambulance Service where she worked extensively on the internal and external communication aspects associated with the rationalisation of UK Ambulance Services. Alison was also instrumental in establishing and implementing Communication Strategies for Hampshire Ambulance Service and NHS Direct Hampshire & Isle of White during significant organisational change initiatives.
With over 17 years of ambulance and health related operational experience, Alison has extensive managerial knowledge of both the call taking and dispatch function within Operation Centres. Alison has also been involved in the successful tender of NEPT contracts and the development of service delivery models / strategies to ensure their success.
